#EmborgComfortFood Cook & Win Contest Terms & Conditions
Take part in #EmborgComfortFood Cook & Win Contest and be one of the TWENTY (20) lucky winners of our Grand Prize and Consolation Prize. EIGHT (8) lucky winners will win the Grand Prize of iPhone 16 Pro each and TWELVE (12) winners will win the Consolation Prize of KitchenAid Go Cordless Hand Mixer.
1. Contest Period and Organiser
1.1. The #EmborgComfortFood Cook & Win digital contest (the “Digital Contest”) commences on Tuesday, 15th July 2025 at 12.00am and ends on Monday, 8th September 2025 at 11.59pm (“Contest Period”). All entries received before or after the Contest Period will be automatically disqualified.
The bi-weekly schedule as below: –
- Week 1 & 2: 15th July, 12.00am – 28th July 2025, 11.59pm
- Week 3 & 4: 29th July,12.00am – 11th August 2025, 11.59pm
- Week 5 & 6: 12th August, 12.00am – 25th August 2025, 11.59pm
- Week 7 & 8: 26th August, 12.00am – 8th September 2025, 11.59pm
1.2. This Digital Contest is organised by EMBORG (the “Organiser”). The Organiser reserves the right to give adequate prior notice to change the duration and/or the commencement and/or expiry dates of the Contest Period.
2. Prizes
2.1. There are a total of TWENTY (20) Prizes for the Digital Contest, consisting of EIGHT (8) Grand Prize and TWELVE (12) Consolation to be won bi-weekly basis throughout the Contest Period.
- 8x Grand Prize: iPhone 16 Pro each (worth RM4,999 each)
- 12x Consolation Prize: KitchenAid Go Cordless Hand Mixer worth RM999 each)
2.1.1 Prize Distribution: Every 2 weeks, two (2) Grand Prizes and three (3) Consolation Prizes will be awarded.
2.2. The pictures of the Prizes shown on the Campaign materials are for illustration purposes only. Actual prizes may vary. The value of the prizes is accurate at the time of printing.
3. Eligibility & Participation Criteria
3.1. To enter the Digital Contest, entrants must:
3.1.1. Record a video that fits the theme #EmborgComfortFood using Emborg product(s)
3.1.2 Post the video publicly with a caption on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok
3.1.3 Include hashtag #EmborgComfortFood and tag the post with
3.1.3.1. @EmborgAsia on Instagram/TikTok
3.1.3.2. @EmborgMalaysia on Facebook
3.2. Make sure entry is posted on a valid, contactable and public Instagram, Facebook or TikTok account. The Organiser will not be held responsible for an entrant’s account becoming inaccessible during the Digital Contest.
3.3. By submitting an entry, entrants shall be deemed to have read, understood, accepted and agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of the Digital Contest.
3.4. The Digital Contest is open to all individuals residing in Malaysia except for the following persons:
The employees of The Organiser, subsidiaries and affiliates, agencies, sponsors, dealers, retailers, or any company associated with the Digital Contest and the immediate family members of such persons.
3.5. Only entries that follow the above-mentioned participation criteria (1) and are received within the Contest Period will be considered as valid. Submission of entries is strictly restricted to the form of Instagram/Tiktok Post or Facebook Post only.
3.6. Multiple entries are allowed per entrant within the Contest Period for the entries submission. In the event of multiple entries, only one entry per bi-weekly round will be considered to win the prizes. One (1) entrant can win only maximum one (1) prize in this Digital Contest.
3.7. Only Entrant who fulfill the Digital Contest mechanics stated above shall be eligible to win the prize. Incomplete entries and/or participants who fail to fulfill the Digital Contest mechanics will automatically be disqualified from the contest without notice.
4. Selection Process & Announcement of Winners
4.1. On bi-weekly basis, the FIVE (5) most creative video entries from the total pool of entries across Facebook and Instagram and TikTok will be selected to win either a Grand Prize or Consolation Prize.
4.2. All eligible participants will be judged through the following criteria on bi-weekly basis:
4.2.1. Adherence to theme (40%) – Points will be awarded for entries that show individual interpretation of #EmborgJoyInCooking.
4.2.2. Creativity (30%) – Points will be awarded for entries that have aspects of originality, personality and unique flair.
4.2.3. Visual appeal (30%) – Points will be awarded for entries that are presented in a creative way.
4.3. On bi-weekly basis, the top FIVE (5) entries will be determined by the judge(s) in their sole discretion. The judges’ decision is final, conclusive and cannot be challenged by anyone.
4.4. Within FIVE (5) working days of the end of the bi-weekly period, the Winners will be announced on Emborg’s Facebook profile @EmborgMalaysia, Instagram & TikTok profile @EmborgAsia and contacted directly via direct message (DM).
4.5. The following steps must be taken in order for winners to claim their prizes:
4.5.1. Winners have to direct/private message Emborg’s Facebook, Instagram or TikTok account within TWO (2) days of Emborg’s comment made on the winning post.
4.5.2. All winners are required to share their full name, mobile number, home address, and email address. It will be assumed finalised/cannot be changed after submission. It is the responsibility of the Winners to provide correct and valid mailing details.
4.5.3. In the event the Winner fails to direct/private message Emborg within TWO (2) days or does not provide all required contact information, the Organiser reserves the right at its absolute discretion to irrevocably forfeit the prize without any further prior notification to the Winner subject to Organiser decision to pick the next winner in line.
4.5.4. The Organiser does not accept any liability for any delay or failure to receive notification for any reason, including inactive or hidden Instagram/Facebook accounts, technical difficulties associated therewith, or the potential winner’s failure to respond to the message being sent to them.
4.6. Entrants who have not won a prize will not receive notification of the same.
4.7. All Prizes will be delivered by courier/post/service provider to the winners within 60 days of the contest end date. The Organiser will not be held liable of non-receipt of prize or damages caused during the delivery process. No replacement and/or exchange of prize will be entertained.
5. On-ground Event Attendance
The EIGHT (8) Grand Prize Winners must attend and participate in an on-ground event organised by the Organiser. In the event that any of the Grand Prize Winners are unable to attend the on-ground event, the Consolation Prize Winners will be selected. The Organiser will provide event details (including date, time, and venue) with reasonable notice. Transportation and/or accommodation (if applicable) will be provided or reimbursed depening on their location. Any costs beyond transportation and/or accommodation to attend the on-ground event will be borne by the winners invited to the on-ground event.
6. Other Terms & Conditions
6.1. The Organiser shall not be held responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury in any manner whatsoever suffered by the winners as a result of their participation in the Digital Contest and /or use of the prizes.
6.2. All cost, fees and/or expenses incurred or to be incurred by the winners in relation to the Digital Contest and/or to claim the Prize(s), which shall include but not limited to the cost for transportations, accommodation, meals, personal costs and/or any other costs, are the sole responsibility of the winners.
6.3. All Prizes are subject to availability, non-exchangeable, non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash or other prizes. All Prizes are subject to, and the Winner must comply with, the terms, conditions, rules, regulations and requirements imposed by the issuer and/or other supplier providing elements of the prizes.
6.4. The Organiser retains the right to substitute the prizes with alternative prizes of similar value at their absolute discretion without prior notice.
6.5. If there is a dispute about the identity of an entrant, the Organiser reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
6.6. The winner(s) must be aged 13 or over as specified by the rules of Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. Proof of identity and age may be required.
6.7. It is only possible to enter this Digital Contest on Instagram/Tiktok or Facebook. This Digital Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram/Tiktok or Facebook. You are providing your information to the Organiser and not to Instagram/Tiktok or Facebook. This information you provide will only be used for the administration of this Digital Contest. Instagram/Tiktok or Facebook is not associated with this Digital Contest and by entering, you fully and completely release Instagram/Tiktok or Facebook from any liability arising out of this Digital Contest.
6.8. By entering the Digital Contest, entrants acknowledge that their Instagram/Tiktok or Facebook username, profile picture and any additional content submitted will be published on @EmborgAsia Instagram page and @EmborgMalaysia Facebook page and may be viewed by all web users.
6.9. Entries made online using methods generated by a script, macro or the use of automated devices will not be counted.
6.10. No responsibility is taken for entries lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete due to server functions, virus, bugs or any other causes outside the control of the Organiser. Proof of receipt is not proof of entry.
6.11. If this Digital Contest is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Organiser, the Organiser reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant or to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Digital Contest.
6.12. By entering the Digital Contest, the entrants give consent and absolute right to the Organiser to use their names, photographs and their entries as materials for the purposes of advertising, marketing, trade and/or publicity, without any prior notice. The Winners shall not be entitled to claim ownership and/or other forms of compensation for the use of the materials by the Organiser.
6.13. The Organiser reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Organiser discretion. Failure by the Organiser to enforce any of its right at any stage does not constitute waiver of those rights.
6.14. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
6.15. The Organiser, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to modify this Terms & Conditions without any prior notice, if required for the smooth running of the Digital Contest.
6.16. The Organiser’s decision regarding all matters in relation to this Digital Contest is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
6.17. Personal details will be retained for the purposes of operating this Digital Contest only, unless permission is given for details to be used for future marketing purposes. All entries will become the property of the Organiser.
6.18. These terms and conditions of the Digital Contest shall be construed, governed and interpreted in accordance with the Malaysian law.
