  • 1 cup of all purpose flour

  • 1/8 tsp salt 

  • 1 tbsp baking powder

  • 1/2 cup of Emborg butter, unsalted

  • 3/4 cup of granulated sugar

  • 1/2 cup of coconut milk

  • 1/2 cup of Emborg Full cream Milk

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 pcs of salted duck egg sliced

  • 1/2 cup of Emborg Mature Cheddar (Block)

  • Pre-cut banana leaf (as needed)

  • Grated coconut (as needed)

  • Muscovado (as needed)

  • Emborg butter, unsalted (as needed)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.

Cream butter then gradually add in sugar.
Add the eggs then whisk until ingredient is well incorporated.
Gradually add the dry mixture.
Pour-in coconut milk and fresh milk, mix well.

Arrange the pre-cut banana leaf on a small round baking pan.
Pour the mixture onto the pan.
Bake for 15 minutes.

Remove from the oven then top with sliced salted egg and grated cheese (do not turn the oven off).
Put back in the oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until the color of the top turn medium brown.

Remove from the oven and let cool.
Brush with butter and sprinkle sugar and topped with grated coconut.
