- 1 Tomato
- Lettuce Leaves (a handful)
- 1 pcs Emborg Italian Mozzarella Slices
- 1 Avocado
- 1 Cucumber
- 1 Yellow Pepper
- 1 Red Pepper
- 1 Black Olive
Panini is a true family favorite. Follow these easy steps and make it with a fun twist:
Spread pesto on the panini.
Rinse the tomato and lettuce and cut the tomato into slices Place the lettuce, tomato and slices of Emborg Italian Mozzarella on the bread. Place the panini in the panini toaster and toast it until it turns a golden colour.
Meanwhile, cut the avocado into small, flat pieces and make a hill-like pattern with them on a serving plate. Drizzle pesto over the avocado pieces.
Rinse the cucumber and cut it into small strips. Some of them should be short for the caterpillar's legs and others should be a bit longer for the caterpillar's feelers. Rinse the yellow pepper and cut it into small triangles and a round circle. Rinse the red pepper and cut out a half-moon shape and two small circles. Cut the olive into slices.
Once the panini has been toasted, cut it into smaller pieces so that it looks like a funny caterpillar. Place the panini in the middle of the plate and now position the cucumber strips and the yellow pepper pieces as legs and feet.
Next, position the cucumber strips as feelers with round, red pieces of pepper at the ends. Give the caterpillar a mouth using the pieces half-moon shaped red pepper and eyes made from the yellow pepper and a slice of the olive.
Et voila. Serve immediately.
