Ingredients

  • MINI PIZZAS:
  • 1 Ready to Bake Pizza Dough
  • 1 Bag of Emborg Shredded Mozzarella
  • 20 Black Olives
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper
  • 100 g Emborg Sweet Corn
  • 1 Handful Basil
  • MASHED PEAS:
  • 300 g Emborg Garden Peas
  • 5 dl Emborg Natural Cooking Cream
  • 5 Tablespoon Butter
  • A Pinch of Salt and Pepper
  • SNACKS:
  • 1 Handful Fresh Grapes and Berries
  • 1 Cucumber
  • 3 Carrots

Mini Pizzas

Pizza is always a winner with kids! Why not try this fun heart-shaped pizza to spice up the lunchbox? Get cooking now!

Method
Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius to ensure a crusty and delicious pizza.

Roll out your pizza dough and use a heart shaped cookie cutter, or cut the dough in circles, to give the pizza a fun shape.

Spread the tomato sauce on the dough and decorate with toppings: Emborg Shredded Mozzarella, black olives, corn, red bell pepper, and fresh basil. (tip: use your favourite toppings to make your own personal pizzas)

Bake the pizzas in the oven for 8-13 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden, and the dough nice and crusty.

Arrange the cooled down pizzas in a lunchbox and remember to also include a fork and a napkin for the fingers.

 

Mashed Peas

Mashed peas is a colourful and healthy dish to spice up the lunchbox. Try this easy recipe now!

Method

Bring a pot with salted water to a boil and add the frozen Emborg Sweet Garden Peas. Cook them for 3 minutes until they are tender.

Drain the peas and mash them by using a blender or fork. Add Emborg Natural Cooking Cream, butter, salt and pepper to ensure a smooth texture and delicious taste. 

Arrange the Mashed Peas in a separate container so it does not mix with the pizza.
 

Snacks

Method

Slice the carrots and cucumber into smaller sticks. (tip: make a quick dip for the vegetables sticks with Emborg Rich Sour Cream and a pinch of paprika and ketchup) 

Take your grapes and berries and slide them onto a wooden barbecue skewer to make a fun snack.

Place all the snacks in a separate container to keep them fresh.
