Making every day Festive
- 1 kiwi fruit
- A handful of strawberries
- 1 packet of Emborg Whipping Cream
- A handful of colourful sprinkles
- A handful of sprinkles in the shape of stars
For the waffle dough
- 35 g Emborg Salted Butter
- 2 eggs
- 200 g flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 350 ml Emborg Milk
Start by melting the butter in a small saucepan. Remove from the heat and leave to cool. Empty the two eggs into a large bowl and stir. Next, mix the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar and salt and then pour the mixture into the bowl. Stir, adding the milk gradually and then add the melted butter.
Bake the waffles in a waffle iron for 3-4 minutes until they are golden. Once the waffles have cooled slightly, cut them out so that they resemble nice high-rise buildings. Also, round off the bottom of the high-rise buildings so that they fit the edge of the plate. Then, place the waffles at the bottom part of a serving plate.
Peel the kiwi and then cut it into elongated triangles, place them with their tips facing one another on the plate so that it resembles fireworks.
Rinse the strawberries and cut them into elongated triangles and place them in the same way as the kiwi fruit.
Whip the Emborg Whipping Cream with an electric whisk until it is whipped. Put the whipped cream in a piping bag or an ordinary freezer bag with a small hole cut in the tip and then carefully squirt the whipped cream into some of the windows in the high-rise waffles. Sprinkle the colourful sprinkles on top of the whipped cream. Then sprinkle the star-shaped sprinkles around the plate to add an impressive starry sky.
Et voila. You now have a Festive Dish. Serve immediately
