  1. Contest Period
    1. The “Gong Cheese Fa Cai Contest” (“Campaign”) commences on 8th January 2022, 12.00am and ends on 11th February 2022, 11.59pm (“Campaign Period”).

EMBORG reserves the right upon giving adequate prior notice to change the duration and/or the commencement  and/or expiry dates of the Campaign Period.This contest will run for a period of five (5) weeks from 8th January 2022, 12.00am to 11th February 2022, 11.59pm as follows:-


  1. How to Enter
    1. To participate in this campaign, all participants need to:
      • Purchase a min. of RM25 worth of Emborg products from any Jaya Grocer stores or at JayaGrocer.com
      • Scan the QR code in-store or visit this link (http://qrco.de/EmborgAngPao)
      • Submit your entry by completing the form on the site (key in your Full Name, IC/Passport Number, Phone Number & a Photo of Receipt/Sales Invoice)

A qualified entry must include a proof of purchase of min. RM25 on Emborg products in the form of either an official receipt generated by any Jaya Grocer store or a sales invoice generated by JayaGrocer.com.

    1. All Eligible Participants will stand a chance to win a share of RM16,288 Cash Prizes!
      • 50x Consolation Prize of RM288 AngPao Cash Prize each (10 Winners per week x 5 weeks)
      • 1x Grand Prize of RM1,888 AngPao Cash Prize


  1. Eligibility & Participation Criteria
    1. The Contest is open to all individuals residing in Malaysia except for the following persons: The employees of Uhrenholt and Jaya Grocer, subsidiaries and affiliates, agencies, sponsors, dealers, retailers, or any company associated with the Contest and the immediate family members of such persons.
    2. Entrant must ensure that the outlet name, purchase date, receipt/sales invoice number, Emborg product[s] purchased are clearly visible in the photo of the receipt/sales invoice. Receipts/sales invoices not within the contest week, duplicate receipts/sales invoices or unclear receipts/sales invoices and incomplete and/or inaccurate entry submitted will be disqualified.
    3. Only entrants who fulfill the contest mechanism stated above shall be eligible to win the prize. Incomplete entries and/or entrants fail to fulfill the contest mechanism will automatically be disqualified from the contest without notice.
    4. Multiple entries are allowed per entrant per week within the Entry Submission Period. In the event of multiple entries submitted per week, only one entry will be considered to win the Weekly Prize. One (1) entrant can win only maximum one (1) Weekly Prize per week in this Contest.


  1. Winner Selection Process & Announcement
    1. Weekly Prizes: There will be 5 rounds of winner selection for Weekly Prizes after each entry submission period and ten (10) winners will be randomly selected from eligible entries per week for five (5) weeks. Weekly Prize winners will be announced on EmborgMalaysia’s Facebook page weekly on the Thursday of the following week and be contacted/notified by text message to his/her phone number within one (1) week from the time the winner announcement is made.
    2. Grand Prize: Winner for Grand Prize will be chosen and announced on EmborgMalaysia’s Facebook page within two (2) weeks after the close of the contest based on the highest total accumulated spend during the five (5) weeks of Contest Period. Grand Prize winner will be contacted/notified by text message to his/her phone number within one (1) week from the time the winner announcement is made.
    3. The Promoter will not be held liable in the event the Winners cannot be contacted for whatever reasons. In the event the Winners cannot be contacted and/or does not respond within FIVE (5) days of the first attempted contact, the Promoter reserves the right at its absolute discretion to irrevocably forfeit the prize without any further prior notification to the Winner subject to Promoter’s decision to pick the next winner in line.
    4. The winner(s) must be aged 18 or over. Proof of identity and age may be required.
    5. All winners will receive the prizes via bank transfer method based on the bank account information provided within 60 days of the contest end date. All winners are required to share their full name, bank account information in the winner’s name, mobile number and email address. The information provided will be assumed finalised/cannot be changed after submission.
    6. All Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and are not redeemable for other prizes.  The Promoter retains the right to substitute the prizes with alternative prizes of similar value at their absolute discretion without prior notice.
    7. In the event the Promoter has a prize giving ceremony, the Winners are required to attend at his/her own cost and expense to collect the Prize. In the event the Winner is not able to attend the prize giving ceremony, the Winner must nominate a representative to be present at the prize giving ceremony to accept the prize on his/her behalf.
    8. Entrants who have not won a prize will not receive notification of the same.


  1. General Terms & Conditions
    1. Entrants may only enter the contest online and by submitting an entry, entrants shall be deemed to have read, understood, accepted and agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of the contest.
    2. The Promoter will not be responsible for entries for the Contest that cannot be processed due to technical or operational reasons, such as misdirected or incomplete due to server functions, virus, bugs or any other causes outside the control of the Promoter. Entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete or illegible, for any reason whatsoever, will be disqualified.
    3. The decision of the Promoter will be final, conclusive and cannot be challenged by anyone. No further appeal or enquiry and/or correspondence will be entertained.
    4. The Promoter shall not be held responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury in any manner whatsoever suffered by the winners as a result of their participation in the Contest and /or use of the prizes.
    5. All cost, fees and/or expenses incurred or to be incurred by the winners in relation to the Contest and/or to claim the Prize(s), which shall include but not limited to the cost for transportations, accommodation, meals, personal costs and/or any other costs, are the sole responsibility of the winners.
    6. If there is a dispute to identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
    7. This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook or Woobox. You are providing your information to the Promoter and not to Facebook or Woobox. This information you provide will only be used for administration of this Contest. Facebook or Woobox is not associated with this Contest and by entering, you fully and completely release Facebook or Woobox from any liability arising out of this Contest.
    8. If this Contest is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant or to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the contest.
    9. By entering in the Contest, the entrants give consent and absolute right to the Promoter to use their names, photographs and their entries as materials for the purposes of advertising, marketing, trade and/or publicity, without any prior notice. The Winners shall not be entitled to claim ownership and/or other forms of compensation for the use of the materials by the Promoter.
    10. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its right at any stage does not constitute waiver of those rights.
    11. The Promoter, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to modify this Terms & Conditions without any prior notice, if required for the smooth running of the Contest.
    12. Personal details will be retained for the purposes of operating this Contest only, unless permission is given for details to be used for future marketing purposes. All entries will become the property of the Promoter.
