Creamy Mala Soup Base

  • In a pot, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat. Sauté ginger, garlic, spring onion, dried chilies and Sichuan pepper until fragrant.

  • Reduce heat to medium-low, add Mala soup paste into the pot, sauté about 2 minutes.

  • Pour in chicken stock and bring it to boiling. Add Emborg Cooking Cream and return to a gentle boil. Stir until fully incorporated and turn off heat.

Hotpot Ingredients

  • Wash, prepare and cut any hotpot ingredients of your choice. Place each ingredient on individual plate.

Set the table & enjoy

  • Place hotpot in the middle of a table with hotpot ingredients around the pot. Pour in the creamy hotpot soup base.

  • Once boiling, begin adding ingredients to the pot. Be sure to cook ingredients through before consuming. Enjoy!
