Baked Brie with Nuts, Pomegranate and Honey
- 1 (200 g) Emborg French Brie
- 50 ml Pecans roughly chopped
- 50 ml Pomegranate seeds
- 50 ml Maple syrup
Try this Brie with a twist of sweetness. This is perfect as a starter or a side dish to a BBQ dinner, or on a cheese table to share.
1. Microwave the Emborg French Brie on high for 1 minute and 15 seconds, or until the Brie is very soft when you prod the centre. If the Brie starts to puff up too much, then turn off the microwave and leave it inside for a while. The residual heat will continue to melt it.
2. Top with pecans, pomegranate seeds and maple syrup. Serve immediately with crackers of your choice.
Feel free to add your own personal touch to the recipe. For example, you could roast the pecans for a bit of crispness or add other fruits and berries such as redcurrants or blueberries for sweetness.
