Christmas Butter Cookies
- 220 g Emborg Unsalted Butter
- 2 tbsp Emborg Milk
- 140 g Sugar
- ½ tsp Salt
- 2 Yolks
- 280 g Flour
- 1 Vanilla Bean (optional)
- 3 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Cinnamon
Christmas cookies are a perfect addition to the holidays, together with the family. Bake and decorate your own cookies and fill the house with the delicious smell of Christmas.
Start by mixing the butter, sugar and salt until light and fluffy. Then, add in the vanilla, then the yolks, one at a time.
Add in the flour and mix until just combined. Scrape down the bowl during beating. Then add in the milk at the end, to loosen up the mixture a little.
To make the cookies, you can either pack the dough into a cookie press or fill a piping bag (with a star nozzle) with the mix.
Press out or pipe the cookie dough onto a parchment-lined tray. Mix the sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle it on top of your cookies. Bake at 175 °C for around 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Make a big portion and freeze the cookie dough, then you will have cookies ready to bake for the entire Christmas season.
