Christmas Butter Cookies

Christmas cookies are a perfect addition to the holidays, together with the family. Bake and decorate your own cookies and fill the house with the delicious smell of Christmas.

    • Start by preheating your oven to 175 °C.

    • Start by mixing the Emborg Unsalted Butter, sugar and salt until light and fluffy. Then, add in the vanilla, then the yolks, one at a time.

    • Add in the flour and mix until just combined. Scrape down the bowl during beating. Then add in the Emborg Organic Milk at the end, to loosen up the mixture a little.

    • To make the cookies, you can either pack the dough into a cookie press or fill a piping bag (with a star nozzle) with the mix.

    • Press out or pipe the cookie dough onto a parchment-lined tray. Mix the sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle it on top of your cookies.

    • Bake for around 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Enjoy!

    Make a big portion and freeze the cookie dough, then you will have cookies ready to bake for the entire Christmas season. To give the cookies an extra-festive look, mix up some icing and decorate the Christmas cookies together with the family!
