- 250 g Macaroni
- 30 g Emborg Butter
- 2 Garlic cloves minced
- 30 g Flour
- 500 ml Emborg Milk
- 300 g Emborg Shredded Pasta Cheese
- Salt and Pepper
- Fresh Parsley
- 1 Onion minced
Try this creamy, classic mac'n'cheese for your next family dinner. It's a hit with both kids and adults.
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Cook macaroni al dente and drain.
Melt Emborg Butter in a large pan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook for about 2 minutes. Pour in the flour and stir continually for 3–4 minutes.
Add Emborg Milk and continue stirring for about 2 minutes until it becomes smooth and thick. Remove from the heat and add Emborg Shredded Pasta Cheese a little bit at a time, mixing well until the cheese is all melted. Season with salt and pepper.
Stir macaroni into the cheese mixture and pour into a baking dish.
Bake in the oven for about 25 minutes until bubbly and golden. Then broil for 2 minutes until the top is slightly browned.
Top with parsley for a fresh touch, and serve!
