Instructions
-
Place baking paper on a baking tray. Preheat the oven to 175°C, using top and bottom heat, without the fan.
-
Using a stand mixer with a paddle attachment, add the Emborg Cook & Bake to the bowl and mix on medium speed until fluffy. Add the powdered milk and continue mixing for 1–2 minutes until well combined.
-
Add half of the flour into the mixer bowl and mix on the lowest speed. Once well mixed, add the remaining half. The dough will be crumbly at first.
-
Using a weighing scale, divide the dough into 80 g pieces and roll each piece into a ball. The heat from your hands will bring the dough together. Place the balls on the prepared baking tray.
-
Bake for 15 minutes or until the bottom edges of the cookies are golden brown.
-
While waiting for the cookies to bake, put the powdered sugar in a small bowl.
-
Once the cookies are baked, remove them from the oven. After 5 minutes, coat the cookies one by one in the powdered sugar. Leave them to cool completely on the baking tray.
-
Once the cookies are cooled completely, coat them in the powdered sugar for a second time.
-
Store the Biskut Arab in an airtight container, ready to enjoy with your family and friends!
