If Christmas had a flavour, it would taste like this gingerbread cake! Try this classic gingerbread cake for a lovely and sweet Christmas treat. All you have to do is follow these easy steps and enjoy.

Start by preheating your oven to 175 °C.

Blend the walnuts until coarse.

Mix eggs and sugar and beat together until fluffy and white.

Melt the Emborg Cook & Bake together with syrup.

Leave it to cool a little and then fold it gently into the egg mixture with Emborg Full Cream Milk.

Mix the nutmeg, allspice, ginger, cinnamon, flour and baking soda together and then add this mixture into the batter, little by little.

Grease a big baking tin (approximately 20 x 30 cm) with extra Emborg Cook & Bake butter.

Pour the final batter into the baking tin and drizzle with the walnuts. Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes until baked through.

Leave the cake to cool a bit before eating.
