Grilled Steak with French Fries
300g Emborg Straight Cut French Fries
2 cloves of Garlic
Mayonnaise for dipping
Salt and pepper
Take your steaks out of the refrigerator 30 minutes before frying and sprinkle with salt.
Start by frying the fries according to the directions on the package until slightly golden.
Heat up a frying pan until very hot and melt 40g of butter on the pan. When the butter is melted and the pan is hot, add the steaks to the heat. The trick here is to turn the steaks every 15-20 second to create a crisp on the outside and tenderness on the inside. Cook the steaks for approximately 5 minutes depending on size. You can measure the temperature in the middle of the steak and cook it the way you prefer
- 45 degrees: Rare
- 55 degrees Medium
- 65 degrees: Well done
When the steak is done, wrap it to keep the heat, and let it rest for about 5 minutes.
Then add fresh pepper and 10g of butter on the top and let it melt on the steak.
Serve with crispy Emborg French Fries and a mixed salad of your favourite vegetables.
