    Instructions

    Granola Bites (12 pieces)

    • These healthy berry breakfast bars are packed full of whole grains and fruit, and use coconut sugar as a healthier sweetener, so they’re perfect to add to your lunch box or perhaps just enjoy as an afternoon snack.

They taste amazing and are filled with healthy fats in terms of butter. On top of that, they’re packed with great vitamins from all the berries – and they’re gluten free too! Learn more about the many benefits you can get from eating the right foods.

    • Start by preheating your oven to 190° C and line a 9×13 cm baking dish with parchment paper.

    • In a large mixing bowl, stir the oats, oat flour, salt and cinnamon together.

    • Pour in the melted butter, add the egg, and stir together until you have a moist, clumpy mixture. It should be crumbly, and not a smooth dough.

    • Set aside about 1 cup of the mix and press the rest of the mix into the baking dish in an even layer.

    • Then, spread the Emborg Blueberries & Strawberries over the oat mixture and pour any of the leftover juice over the top.

    • Next, crumble the rest of the mixture on top of the berries and bake for 25-30 minutes.

    • When the bars are baked, take them out of the oven and let them cool completely.

    • Finally, cut them into 12 squared mini bars and add them to your lunch box or store them in an airtight container until consumed.

    Mini Grilled Cheese

    • Crispy-crunchy on the outside and melted, rich cheddar in the middle: the world-famous cheese pull. Try these all-time favourite grilled cheese bites, which are super simple to make and perfect in your lunch box.

    • Start by heating up a skillet to medium-low heat. Then, spread the Emborg Salted Butter on both sides of the bread. Add two slices of Emborg American Slices and close the sandwich.

    • Then, fry the sandwich on both sides until the crust is golden and crispy and the cheese is melted.

    • Finally, cut your grilled cheese into four small bites and add it to your lunch box!

    Snacks

    • Always remember to fill the lunch box with your child's favourite snacks so they have a variety of interesting foods to choose from. Vegetables, nuts and fruits are all good choices!

    • Cut the apple and tomatoes into bite-sized pieces. Put the vegetables, crackers and nuts in the lunch box.

    • Finally, remember to include a fork and a napkin, so it is easy to eat.

    • Enjoy!
