Try this delicious burger with a plant-based patty bursting with flavour and delicous pickled onions. A perfect dinner option for the whole family!

Instructions

  • Slice red onions thinly and place in a small container.

  • In a small pot, stir together vinegar, water, salt and sugar, and cook at medium heat until it simmers.

  • Pour the hot vinegar mixture over the onions until coated. Let the onions marinate for 30 minutes.

  • Season the plant-based burger patties with salt and pepper, then fry them in a hot pan with oil for 4-5 minutes on each side.

  • Place Emborg Plant-based Cheddar-style Slices on each patty, allowing them to melt a little.

  • Toast the brioche burger buns and spread the bottom halves with mayonnaise.

  • Place the lettuce on the bottom halves followed by the patties with cheese, the newly pickled onions and the pea shoots. Your masterpiece is now ready to eat.

  • Enjoy your new favourite vegan burger!

Tip: Add your own touch to your burger by adding other spreads and vegetables.
