


Plant-based Pasta Bolognese
In the mood for a traditional Italian dish? Try this plant-based pasta Bolognese – a modern and flavourful take on a classic family favourite!

Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add the chopped onion, carrot and garlic, and sauté until the onion becomes translucent. -
Add the plant-based minced meat and fry it for approximately 5 minutes while stirring occasionally.

Add the red wine or vegetable stock, canned tomatoes and tomato paste and leave to simmer, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens and the flavours meld together.

Season with the salt and pepper to taste.

Serve the bolognese over your favourite cooked pasta. Garnish with fresh basil and shredded plant-based mozzarella.
Tip: Let the bolognese simmer for longer, in order for the flavours to unfold even more.
