Cook the spaghetti

  • In a large pot, cook the spaghetti pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the sauce

  • In a large pan, melt the Emborg Unsalted Butter over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until fragrant and translucent.

  • Add the ground beef to the pan. Cook until browned and no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.

  • Stir in the crushed tomatoes, Emborg Natural Shredded Cheddar Topping, tomato paste, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.

  • Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens and the flavors meld together.

Combine pasta and sauce

  • Add the cooked spaghetti pasta to the sauce. Toss until the pasta are well coated with the sauce.

Serve

  • Transfer the spaghetti to a serving dish. Top with Emborg Parmigiano Reggiano, if desired.
