


Creamy Mala Hotpot Soup Base

In a pot, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat. Sauté ginger, garlic, spring onion, dried chilies and Sichuan pepper until fragrant.

Reduce heat to medium-low, add Mala soup paste into the pot, sauté about 2 minutes.

Pour in chicken stock and bring it to boiling. Add Emborg Cooking Cream and return to a gentle boil. Stir until fully incorporated and turn off heat.

Wash, prepare and cut any hotpot ingredients of your choice. Place each ingredient on individual plate.

Place hotpot in the middle of a table with hotpot ingredients around the pot. Pour in the creamy hotpot soup base.

Once boiling, begin adding ingredients to the pot. Be sure to cook ingredients through before consuming. Enjoy!
