Easy Creamy Pesto Pasta

Bring a burst of fresh flavors to your table with this easy and flavourful pesto pasta. Featuring fragrant basil pesto and tender al-dente pasta, this dish is perfect for adding a touch of green to your holiday feast!

    • In a blender or with an immersion blender, combine fresh basil leaves, cashew nuts (or your choice of nuts), garlic, olive oil, grated parmesan, sea salt, and a few ice cubes. Blend until smooth and emulsified.

    • Bring a large pot of salted water to the boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.

    • Reserve 100 ml of pasta water before draining the pasta. Set aside.

    • In a large skillet over medium heat, add the prepared pesto.

    • Pour in the Emborg Cooking Cream and stir to combine.

    • Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta evenly with the creamy pesto sauce.

    • If the sauce is too thick, add the reserved pasta water a little at a time until the desired consistency is reached.

    • Plate the creamy pesto pasta. Garnish with additional grated parmesan and a sprig of fresh basil on top. Serve immediately and enjoy!
