    • Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut the pastry into 4 equal triangles.

    • Roll the croissants: Starting from the wide end, roll each triangle towards the point to form a croissant shape. Place the croissants on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

    • Brush the tops of the croissants with the beaten egg to give them a golden, shiny finish.

    • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the croissants are golden brown and crispy.

    • Once the croissants are baked, let them cool for a few minutes. Once slightly cool, carefully slice them open horizontally.

    • Place a slice of Emborg Unsalted Butter, a slice of Emborg Swiss Cheese, and a slice of ham inside each croissant. If you like, spread a small amount of Dijon mustard on the ham for extra flavour. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper over the filling.
