Hot Honey Smashed Burger

This burger recipe gives you that sweet and spicy umami with a melty cheesy twist to keep your snacking more fun and exciting!

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, warm honey over low heat.
    Stir in chili flakes and vinegar, and simmer for 1-2 minutes. Set aside.

  • Lightly butter and toast the burger buns on a pan until golden. Set aside.

  • Divide beef into loose balls. Heat a skillet until very hot.

  • Place beef balls on skillet, press down hard with spatula to smash it flat. Season with salt and pepper.

  • Cook 1-2 minutes until the edges are crisp and brown and flip.

  • Top immediately with Emborg Perfect Slices for Burger.
    Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the cheese melts.

  • Layer the the bottom bun with lettuce, onion, cheesy smashed burger patty and pickles.

  • Drizzle with hot honey sauce, put the top bun on and enjoy!

Enjoy with Emborg french fries on the side for a savoury treat.
