Instructions

Prepare the Sandwich

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat. Spread Emborg Cook & Bake on one side of each slice of bread.

  • Divide the hummus on the unbuttered side of each slice of bread and spread out. Place half of the slices of bread on the skillet with buttered side down.

  • Sprinkle a thin layer of half of the Emborg Shredded Mozzarella and Emborg Shredded Red Cheddar on the hummus.

  • Divide the shredded lamb meat on top of the cheese.

  • Sprinkle remaining Emborg Shredded Mozzarella and Emborg Shredded Red Cheddar over the lamb meat.

  • Top with the remaining slices of bread, hummus side down.

  • Gently press down on the sandwich with a spatula or use a sandwich press.

  • Cook until the bread is golden brown, and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Optional Fries

  • Cook Emborg Straight Cut Fries according to packet instructions.

Optional Side Salad

  • In a large bowl, combine the salad greens and chopped vegetables.

  • Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice.

  • Season with salt to taste.

  • Toss everything together until well mixed.

Serve

  • Cut the grilled cheese sandwiches in half. Serve with the side salad if desired.
