Instructions

Mix the minced beef together with the salt and pepper and shape into 4 burger patties.

Fry them in a hot pan with olive oil for 4-5 minutes on each side.

Place the cheese slices on the beef patties for the last 2 minutes of the frying time allowing them just to melt.

Stir the crushed garlic into the mayonnaise and allow to rest for 10 minutes.

Toast the buns and spread the bottom halves with ketchup and the top halves with garlic mayonnaise.

Fill the burgers with lettuce leaves, burger patties, sliced tomato, onion rings and pickled cucumber.
As an option add some soaked bread to the mince, which will make the burger patty juicy even when fried thoroughly.
