Garlic Butter Prawns with Glass Noodles

This platter bursting with tasteful prawns and noodles is never a bad idea – a simple recipe that will wow your guests.

    Instructions

    • Pour boiling water on glass noodles in a pot and leave submerged until soft for about 20 minutes. Then, drain and season with soy sauce and sesame oil.

    • Prepare the prawns by snipping off the tip of the head and butterfly open the top. Also, devein the prawns.

    • In a small pot, melt the Emborg Salted Butter over a medium heat and sauté the garlic lightly.

    • Add the oyster sauce, soy sauce, black vinegar and white pepper. Stir to combine and leave to cool slightly.

    • In a heatproof serving dish, place the glass noodles as a base before adding the prawns on top in a single layer, flesh side up. Brush the flesh of the prawns with the butter mixture. Steam for 10–12 minutes until the prawns are cooked through.

    • Sprinkle with spring onion and garlic chips and enjoy!
