Garlic Butter Prawns with Glass Noodles
This platter bursting with tasteful prawns and noodles is never a bad idea – a simple recipe that will wow your guests.
Pour boiling water on glass noodles in a pot and leave submerged until soft for about 20 minutes. Then, drain and season with soy sauce and sesame oil.
Prepare the prawns by snipping off the tip of the head and butterfly open the top. Also, devein the prawns.
In a small pot, melt the Emborg Salted Butter over a medium heat and sauté the garlic lightly.
Add the oyster sauce, soy sauce, black vinegar and white pepper. Stir to combine and leave to cool slightly.
In a heatproof serving dish, place the glass noodles as a base before adding the prawns on top in a single layer, flesh side up. Brush the flesh of the prawns with the butter mixture. Steam for 10–12 minutes until the prawns are cooked through.
Sprinkle with spring onion and garlic chips and enjoy!
