Instructions

In a large saucepan, combine the coconut milk, Emborg Fresh Milk, water, and sugar. Stir well to dissolve the sugar.

Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle boil, stirring occasionally.

In a small bowl, dissolve the cornflour in a little water to make a smooth slurry. Gradually add this to the boiling mixture, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.

Continue to cook and stir the mixture until it thickens to a pudding-like consistency, about 10-15 minutes.

Add the Emborg Sweet Corn and mix well.

Pour the mixture into a lightly greased rectangular or square dish, spreading it evenly.

Allow the Maja Blanca to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.

Before serving, sprinkle the top with toasted grated coconut for added flavour and texture.
For a twist, try adding a layer of latik (carmalised coconut cream) on top before sprinkling the toasted coconut. This will add a delicious, caramelised flavour and make your dessert even more special and indulgent.
